These terms apply to all users of the platform, including students, tutors, and visitors.

2. Description of Services

Tutamigo provides an AI-powered online tutoring platform that connects students with qualified tutors for 1:1 learning sessions. Our services include:

• Live video tutoring sessions
• AI-generated quizzes and learning materials
• Session notes and summaries
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Tutor-student matching

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of Tutamigo, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

4. Student Terms

As a student on Tutamigo, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions on time
• Treat tutors with respect and professionalism
• Use the platform for legitimate educational purposes only
• Not share account access with others
• Provide honest feedback about tutoring sessions

5. Tutor Terms

Tutors on Tutamigo agree to:

• Provide accurate information about qualifications and experience
• Deliver high-quality tutoring services
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions
• Honor scheduled sessions and cancellation policies
• Not solicit students for off-platform services

Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of Tutamigo. Tutors are responsible for their own taxes and compliance with applicable laws.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payment Terms

Students pay for tutoring sessions through our platform. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Prices are displayed before booking and may vary by tutor.

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with your **trial lesson**, you can request a **free replacement session** with a different tutor (up to 2 replacements allowed). This guarantee applies to trial lessons only and provides a session credit rather than a cash refund.

Tutor Payments

Tutors receive payment for completed sessions according to our payment schedule. Tutamigo retains a platform fee as disclosed in the tutor agreement.

Credit Expiration

All purchased credits and session balances expire **3 months** after the date of purchase. Please ensure you use your credits within this timeframe, as expired credits cannot be reactivated or refunded.

7. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and tutors. Instead of cash refunds, we issue session credits to your account balance:

• Cancellations made **more than 12 hours** before a session: **100% Session Credit** returned to your balance.
• Cancellations made **less than 12 hours** before a session: No credit or refund will be issued.
• Tutor cancellations: Full session credit returned and priority rebooking assistance.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to bypass platform security measures
• Use the platform for academic dishonesty
• Collect personal information from other users
• Misrepresent identity or qualifications
• Engage in any fraudulent activities

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Tutamigo, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Tutamigo or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Materials created during tutoring sessions (notes, quizzes, etc.) may be retained by both the student and tutor for personal educational use.

10. AI Features

Tutamigo uses artificial intelligence to enhance the learning experience. By using our AI features, you acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a learning aid and may not be perfect
• AI recommendations should be used alongside, not as a replacement for, human tutoring
• Your interactions may be used to improve AI systems (in accordance with our Privacy Policy)

11. Limitation of Liability

Tutamigo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutamigo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Tutamigo in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Tutamigo shall first be addressed through our customer support. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of Tutamigo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
